YOUR NEXT JOURNEY, IN YOUR POCKET

SafeTaxi. Coming soon.

Designed in Ireland, with a bigger journey in mind.

THE SAFETAXI STANDARD

A licence is the start.
We’d go further.

You’re choosing a person, not just a car. Our proposed screening process puts more care into who gets to join.

01

The foundation

Start with the essentials.

Verify identity, a current SPSV licence and vehicle documents. Additional screening builds on Ireland's existing licensing requirements.

02

The human part

Meet the person.

A structured, face-to-face interview about passenger care, professional boundaries and how they would handle real situations.

03

The extra checks

Go a little deeper.

Check relevant references, review driving experience and assess every driver against the same documented acceptance criteria.

04

The ongoing commitment

Keep the standard high.

Recheck expiring documents, review passenger concerns and reassess drivers when issues arise. Joining would just be the beginning.

A proposed standard, to be finalised before launch. Additional screening cannot eliminate every risk.

OUR STANCE ON VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN

Her plans.
Her freedom.
Her right to feel safe.

Women and girls deserve to travel without harassment, intimidation or fear. Violence against women is unacceptable. Responsibility always lies with the person causing harm.

We’re building SafeTaxi around that belief, with extra care in who drives and how concerns are handled.

Respect is non-negotiable.

Our driver standard prohibits sexual comments, unwanted contact, pressure for personal details and using trip information to contact a passenger afterwards.

Listen. Take it seriously.

We believe passengers should be heard without blame or dismissal. What someone wears, where they go or whether they’ve been drinking never excuses abuse.

Turn concern into action.

Before launch, we will establish clear reporting and safeguarding procedures, including prompt risk assessment and precautionary driver restrictions where appropriate.

The same standards will apply to every driver. Safety is about conduct, accountability and evidence.

FAMILIAR TO BOOK. DIFFERENT BY DESIGN.

Your next ride.
A little more human.

All the simplicity you’d expect from a taxi app, with more visibility into the person taking you there.
